Stonefly Nets Collaboration with Tom Morgan Rodsmiths

THE PROJECT:

I’ve teamed up with Matt and Joel, the owners of Tom Morgan Rodsmiths, to bring you this one of a kind package. It started with an email one afternoon, offering to partner on a project, and the idea was born: Let’s take a handcrafted, net from my workshop, a custom rod build from theirs, and create a unique package. Once completed you will have a matching net handle and reel seat. We would all be honored to craft one for you.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The Catch and Release Package: The package is a custom Tom Morgan Rodsmiths rod and custom wood landing net from Stonefly Nets. The landing net handle and reel seat will have matching woods of your choosing.

The Rod: As Tom Morgan Rodsmiths say, “A TMR rod is not made for everyone – It’s made for you – By people who know your name.” That means its starts with you having a conversation with TMR about your custom build. Everyone of their rods is built to your needs and specifications. Then, you will have a conversation with me at SFN.

The Net: I have designed a custom wood landing net just for TMR owners. This unique design will not only help you land more fish, but will also be more fish friendly. You will have the ability to select the woods for your handle and hoop to create a truly custom net. When you pick out your handle wood, I will cut the reel seat at the same time to ensure a true match. Each reel seat blank will come from the same piece as your handle, and each Catch and Release net handle will come with a TMR coin inlay to make your set truly special.
